Is Your Website Secure?
In another round of security breaches, several major companies were hit recently.
This week it was announced that the European Central Bank was breached with malware injected into their systems. Last week it was Capital One that was hit by hackers affecting over 100 million in the US and Canada. A recent report suggested there are over 20 data breaches PER DAY so far in the first half of 2019.
Hackers are constantly attempting to gain access to new websites and their valuable data. But there are several things you can do as a business owner to secure your website. We’ve talked about SSL’s in the past, but that is NOT the only thing you should be doing. Apart from the obvious of making sure you are using long and difficult passwords for your server, and website, there are many other things you can do to “harden” your site against attacks.
