N-Sync has been Brevard’s local network shop for 37 years. Five of us. We’re adding a sixth.
We need someone who’s already been in the trenches: help desk, desktop, printers, Wi-Fi, VPN, Microsoft 365, Active Directory / Entra, hardware that actually breaks. Self-taught is fine. Certs are a bonus, not the point. Fix it. Explain it in plain English. Don’t wait to be told what to do.
A lot of the work is remote. A lot of it is *not* — on-site break/fix, emergency calls, conference rooms, new machines, the “it’s down and we need it now” calls. If you want the same chair all day, this isn’t it.
We also advise and implement CMMC Level 2 for defense-sector clients — scoping, endpoints, identity, evidence, procedures, and getting shops ready for a C3PAO. You don’t need to be an assessor. You do need the Microsoft stack in the real world and the discipline not to invent workarounds.
**Must-haves**
- Strong Microsoft stack (Windows, M365, Entra/AD, Teams)
- Hardware + networking — not portal-only
- Clear communicator with users and owners
- Works without a babysitter
- Brevard / Space Coast — on-site when it matters
- CMMC Level 2 / NIST 800-171 in practice, or ready to live in it
